New Years Eve 2013/2014 at

Rafters Restaurant, Ozanköy

By Chris Elliott

Having been to Rafters Restaurant on Christmas Day and had a good time it was going to take very special event to Abbas or is it Jasonmake New Year’s Eve an even greater evening and one to remember and I was not disappointed.

Firstly Abbas and his Team worked so hard to serve up a splendid selection of meal choices to suit every taste and the decor in Rafters was just brilliant. I think there was a subtle treat for the ladies, when Abbas appeared sporting what looked like designer stubble and looking just like the screen star, Jason Statham.

The entertainment was also first class with “Andrew Sings…..” arriving to make the night just so perfect despite the fact that Andrew had a heavy cold and a sore throat developing. He just carried on like a true professional not wanting to let his fans and guests down and although he did not feel his best so many people were remarking – this guy is terrific. Andrew and Glen sing

A few times he was supported by Glen who either sang solo or they teamed up together and this was just another side of their act that we would all like to see more of I am sure.

At the witching hour everybody who had been having a great time all evening, on the stroke of midnight, all came together swapping kisses and handshakes and just enjoying the passing of 2013 and the arrival of 2104.

Sadly Margaret was unable to enjoy this special and memorable evening as her back which she had injured 3 weeks ago lifting a gas bottle was giving her a bad time, but I am pleased to say that today she is feeling much better and we hope she will make a full recovery very soon.

To show you what a wonderful evening we had please have a look at the video below.
