Police will go under
Civilian Command in 2014
Northern Cyprus Prime Minister Özkan Yorgancıoğlu stated that the command of the police would be transferred to the civilian authority in 2014.
According to the news report in kıbrıspostası.com, Yorgancıoğlu said that the necessary work to make the transfer would be finalized in the beginning of the year.
The police in the Northern Cyprus is currently under the operational command of the Turkish military.
