“Friends” Line Dancers at the 11th Zeytinlik Olive Festival
The “Friends” Line Dancers certainly get around and following doing their routine at the Fiddlathon in Girne last Saturday they 
were again strutting their stuff at the Zeytinlik Olive Festival on Wednesday.
Janet and Stephen Bartholomew have given me news of the group’s activities and were pleased to supply some pictures at the Olive Fest and some comm
ents about the event.
“Friends“ Line Dancers all agreed that taking part and being so warmly received at the yearly Zeytinlik Olive Festival is one of the highlights of living here in Cyprus.
After a twenty minute performance with much audience participation, especially when dancing to the music of Tarkan, the group had a much appreciated supper of 
kebabs and a soft drink.
We had such a good night, Stephen really played to the audience got them all clapping and laughing at his antics, he used to play drums in a 60`s band in his hey-day so is never nervous on stage.”
The “Friends” Line Dancers meet at the
