RUSSIA REACTS TO BRITISH BASES

It was reported that Russia reacted to British Bases in South Cyprus due to the fact that they tried to gather information about the rebellion in Syria.

Greek Cypriot daily Fileleftheros noted that in the announcement published in a web page of  the Russian Foreign Ministry, it was expressed that any military gathering of informations and other activities will make negative contributions to the region.

Fileleftheros also noted that Greek Cypriot Parliament will discuss British Base’s usage of their bases with the aim of spying.
