ARUCAD Joins the International Association of Universities

The Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has officially become a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), a distinguished global network dedicated to advancing higher education. In partnership with UNESCO, the IAU brings together universities from around the world to collaborate and promote educational excellence on an international scale.

By joining the IAU, ARUCAD gains access to a vast network of institutions, opening doors to collaborative research, academic exchanges, knowledge sharing, and global partnerships. This membership empowers the university to engage in international projects, expand academic cooperation, and offer its students increased opportunities for mobility and hands-on experiences.

The IAU organizes regular gatherings for member universities, supports thematic research, shapes policy, and publishes influential reports on the future of higher education. Its working groups focus on critical topics such as quality assurance, digital transformation, sustainability, and accessibility. Through this affiliation, ARUCAD will stay at the forefront of academic trends and actively participate in global higher education discussions.

Additionally, the IAU, in collaboration with UNESCO, is developing the World Higher Education Database (WHED), which boosts the visibility and international reach of its members. Inclusion in WHED will further strengthen ARUCAD’s presence in the global academic community
