Being away from the TRNC, it was good to catch up with and share news from Ralph Kratzer of The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR) about their Christmas Glogg gathering.

Our last event of the year 2025 took place last Friday, 12^th December 2025, the traditional Glögg afternoon. Thanks to “Santa Claus” Horst Gutowski, our Events Manager Pamela Tschersich (and helpers), and all the members who brought along some Christmas delicacies…

Short report from Pamela:

“TFR members gathered together at the BLUESONG in Lapta to enjoy our Nordic mulled wine (Glögg) event along with festive nibbles provided by members who kindly shared them with the others to enjoy with their free glass of Glögg.

Representatives from HEARTBEAT came along to receive our donation of 33.000 TL from our Christmas Dinner & Dance, which was raised from our raffle for which many of our members had generously donated to.”

Teresa Cefa from HEARTBEAT came already back on our TFR Facebook site saying:

“On behalf of Heartbeat North Cyprus Cancer Charity Trust, we would like to thank TFR for their very kind and generous donation of 33000TL. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas ????“
