ARUCAD Students met online with Domus Academy in Italy

Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) held an online conference on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, as part of its academic collaboration with Domus Academy, one of Italy’s leading graduate design schools.

During the event, academicians from different departments of Domus Academy came together directly with ARUCAD students and shared their knowledge and experiences.

Domus Academy’s Fashion Design Department Prof. Dr. Gianfranco Olivotto, Visual Brand Design Department Prof. Dr. Elisa Chiodo, Interior Design Department Prof. Dr. Aoi Hasegawa, and Urban and Architectural Design Department Prof. Dr. Tim Power attended the online conference.

 The Domus Academy’s interdisciplinary and project-based education approach was conveyed at the event; students’ questions about life in Milan, the academic environment, application processes, internships, and career opportunities were also answered.

Moderated by ARUCAD Textile and Fashion Design Department Head Assoc. The event was moderated by Evelina Scrivani, Senior Manager of International Partnerships and Academic Processes, on behalf of Domus Academy, under the leadership of Elham Etemadi. During this online meeting, students had the opportunity to communicate directly with academics and gain comprehensive information on how they can shape their creative careers at an international level.

Student exchange programs discussed

The academic collaboration established between ARUCAD and Domus Academy includes student exchange programs, fast admission processes for master’s programs that also offer double diplomas, special scholarship opportunities, and special discount opportunities for summer schools. The academic collaboration, which aims to provide ARUCAD students with special scholarships and an international perspective, also has an important place in this context.

This strong collaboration between ARUCAD and Domus Academy serves as an important bridge for young talents who want to develop an international vision in creative fields.
