LONG LIVE THE TRNC REPUBLIC!

İskele Municipality organized a Lantern Procession this evening 15rth November 2024 on the occasion of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the 15th November Republic Day.

The Republic March was cancelled due to bad weather but at 16.30, the crowd gathered in front of the İskele Municipality Culture House and lit up the Pier with the lighting of torches.

The event was attended by İskele Municipality Culture, Art and Foreign Relations Advisor Özlem Kadirağa, İskele Municipality Administrative Supervisor Gülgün Dargın, as well as schools and citizens.
