“Half-Lives Epic” Draws Huge Crowds In Girne

The play “Half-Lives Epic”, staged by Girne Theatre SU, has captivated audiences in Girne. The performance, which was met with overwhelming enthusiasm, received a standing ovation.

Derman Atik’s play delves into his life-long journey in theatre, intertwining it with Cyprus’ centuries-old history and presenting it to the audience. The play, suitable for ages 16 and above, will be staged at 8:00 PM on November 8, 15, and 29 at the Girne Municipality Chamber Theatre.

Written and directed by Burçhan Göze, the play features Özge Günay Göze as the assistant director, Esel Fatma Tüney as the assistant stage manager, and Mehmet Saygıer as the lighting designer. The cast includes Cenk Gürçağ, Derman Atik, and İlkşen Varoğlu Atik, with Cemile Gürçağ and İlde Atik providing the vocals.

According to the Girne Municipality Chamber Theatre, tickets are priced at 200 TL and can be purchased online at www.kibrisbiletcim.com or at the Girne Municipality Chamber Theatre during office hours. Tickets will also be available at the door on performance nights.
