Iskele Participated In The 2nd Alabanda Theatre Festival

The Iskele Municipal Theatre, which attracted attention with the plays it staged in Iskele and across the island, took to the stage at the 2nd Alabanda Theatre Festival, this time at the invitation of Çine Municipality in Aydın, Turkey.

The ITT Team, which brought their play Funny Money together with the people of Çine, received full marks from the audience. At the end of the play, which was watched with great interest, the team under the direction of Sami Yakar, who received a standing ovation, was crowned with a plaque of appreciation given by Çine Mayor Mehmet Kıvrak and Aegean Theatres Union President Metin Güler. Iskele Municipality Council Member Sefa Kurukafa also accompanied the ITT Team.

Iskele Municipality Theatre Brought ‘Funny Money’ To The Stage At The Festival It Went To Upon The Invitation Of Çi̇ne Municipality

Iskele Municipal Theatre participated in the Alabanda Theatre Festival organised for the second time this year by Çine Municipality of Aydın. Directed by ITT Director Sami Yakar, the play titled Funny Money, written by Ray Cooney, was staged in Çine, at Çine Municipality Cultural Centre. In the ITT team that brought the play to theatre lovers, Ceren Boyacı, Berna Şipaloğlu, Murat Sirhan, Burkay Mehmet Uzun, Yalçın Arıcı, Bilal Dericioğlu, Mehmet Külçer, Mertçan Çokaçar shared the same stage in the Funny Money play, Muhterem Hocaoğulları was the soprano, İrem Yılmaz in sound and light, Yalçın Arıcı in decor and design.

A Plaque Of Appreciation Was Given To The ITT Team

After the play, which was watched with great interest by the people of Çine, Çine Mayor Mehmet Kıvrak and Aegean Theatres Union President Metin Güler thanked the Iskele Municipality Theatre team and presented plaques and flowers. In his speech, ITT Director Sami Yakar thanked Çine Municipality and Aegean Theatres Union for inviting them to this special festival and expressed his gratitude to the theatre lovers who showed great interest in the play they brought to the stage.

The Team Visited The Mayor

The ITT Team, which participated in the 2nd Alabanda Theatre Festival held between 8-11 October hosted by Çine Municipality, visited Çine Mayor Mehmet Kıvrak in his office. The team, accompanied by Iskele Municipality Council Member Sefa Kurukafa, thanked Mayor Kıvrak for his hospitality.
