GAZIMAGUSTA APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING CENTER

The number of students at the Gazimagusta/Famagusta Apprenticeship Training Centre, which was opened in November 2023 in MAGEM Maraş, has increased from 33 to 83 since last year.

Gazimagusta/Famagusta Mayor Süleyman Uluçay, who made statements about the Famagusta Apprenticeship Training Centre, which is one of the most important projects of Gazimagusta/Famagusta Municipality, also announced new targets for the centre. In his statement, Mayor Uluçay stated that it is aimed to add vocational workshops to adult education and schools, and emphasized that the centre, which has a 3-year training period in workplaces that are members of the Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, provides many young people with new job opportunities and opportunities that they can use at every stage of their lives.

Mayor Uluçay’s full statement is as follows; “We opened the Gazimagusta Apprenticeship Training Centre, one of the projects we attach the most importance to, in November 2023 at MAGEM Maraş.

This training, which lasts for 3 years in MAGEM Maraş classrooms and workplaces that are members of the Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, provides many of our young people with new job opportunities and opportunities that they can use at every stage of their lives.

Numbers of students are increasing

While Gazimagusta/Famagusta Apprenticeship Training Centre started with 33 students last year, the number of our students increased to 83 when we entered the new registration period this year and continues to increase day by day.

In the next phase, our goals for the Apprenticeship Training Centre include adult education and adding vocational workshops to our school. I would like to thank Gazimagusta/Famagusta Municipality Culture Branch Supervisor Onursal Akdeniz, MAGEM Maraş Supervisor Cansu Canalp, KTEZO Representative Ersun Aytaç, Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Undersecretary Aytunç Şirket and everyone who contributed to the realization of this beautiful school.
