Northern Cyprus has been promoted at the Istanbul Tourism Fair

The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment took part in the Istanbul Tourism Fair, which took place in Istanbul between 9-10 October 2024.

The Tourism Fair, which brings together all the colours of the tourism sector, from hotels to agencies, from airline companies to cruise companies, will continue for 2 days. The fair, which was held for the first time last year and made a great impression in the sector, made a stronger and more assertive start this year.

The rich cultural heritage, natural beauties and touristic potential of the TRNC are highlighted at the tourism fair held in Istanbul to promote Northern Cyprus tourism.

At the TRNC stand, visitors are given detailed information about the country’s historical and cultural values, beaches, nature sports opportunities and accommodation options, while delicacies reflecting the culinary culture of Northern Cyprus are also presented.

While domestic and foreign tourism professionals participating in the fair showed great interest in the TRNC stand, many important meetings were held on the first day with the aim of strengthening the existing tourism cooperation between Turkey and Northern Cyprus and creating new tourism destinations.
