İskele Mayor Sadikoğlu Inspected Ongoing Community Projects

İskele Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu examined the ongoing projects in İskele and its villages and exchanged ideas about the projects that will be started.

Mayor Sadıkoğlu was accompanied during his visits by his Assistant Okşan Çalışır, as well as İskele Municipality Project Management Unit Senior Architect Naciye Erol, Landscape Architect Özlem Çakıcılı, Interior Architects Mine Çakır Demir and Tahir Kaşer, Construction Unit Manager Sertaç Akdemir, Park Garden Unit Manager Mehmet Kara and Irrigation System Manager Hüseyin Delibaş, Grading and Cleaning Unit Manager Salih Kara.

RURAL PARK PROJECT CONTINUES IN TOPÇUKÖY

İskele Municipality, which provides services to İskele and its 21 villages with the understanding that Service is a Work of the Heart, continues to play an active role in both ongoing and new projects. İskele Municipality Project Management Unit led by İskele Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu examined the works carried out on site with his delegation. Mayor Sadıkoğlu and his delegation’s first stop was Topçuköy, where the Rural Area Park Project is ongoing. The construction of the project in Topçuköy, where a basketball/volleyball court, play groups, walking paths, buffet, fitness groups, surface painting games, mini survivor track and natural walking area will be created, continues.

THE PROJECT IN TURNALAR VILLAGE CONTINUES AT FULL SPEED

Mayor Sadıkoğlu also examined the Turnalar Village Local Renovation, Atatürk Bust Area and Environmental Planning Project, which was started with İskele Municipality’s own resources and the contributions of the Development and Economic Cooperation Organization of the Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa. The project, which will be completed in 180 working days, includes the renovation of the existing local building, landscaping works, visitor parking lot, children’s playground, walking paths and the arrangement of the Atatürk Bust area.

WORK CONTINUES IN A 2500 SQUARE METERS OF AREA IN KİLİTKAYA

The Kilitkaya Village Club and Environmental Planning Project, which was put out to tender and finalized in recent months, is also ongoing. Mayor Sadıkoğlu and his team examined the work here on site. The project, which is planned to be completed in 180 working days and built on an area of ​​2500 square meters, includes a 170 m2 Club building, basketball/volleyball court, children’s playground and outdoor fitness area, visitor parking lot and landscaping works.

CONSTRUCTION OF PROJECTS IN TUZLUCA WILL START

The Mayor of Iskele examined the ongoing projects as well as the projects that will be started on site and received information from the unit managers. One of those points was Tuzluca Village. There is also an astroturf project for Tuzluca Village, where the outdoor wedding hall and park planning project will be implemented.

WORKS CONTINUE IN THE 2ND STAGE OF THE INDOOR MARKETPLACE AND TERMINAL AREA

The second stage works of the Iskele Municipality Indoor Marketplace and Terminal Area arrangement project were also among the points visited by Mayor Sadıkoğlu and his delegation. In the first stage, the structural steel works of the Marketplace and Fisherman’s stand, the WC frame advanced and drainage infrastructure works were completed, and in the second stage of the project; reinforced concrete and steel construction remaining works, architectural works; roofing and facade cladding works, mechanical works, electrical works, landscaping works; rainwater drainage and infrastructure works, asphalt works, electrical and lighting works are included. The second stage works in question are planned to be completed in 180 working days.

PROJECT WORKS CONTINUE IN MANY VILLAGES

Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu and his delegation also examined the Boğaztepe Rural Area Park Project, the Kuzucuk Park Project, and the Aylin Gargı Park in Ardahan Village, which was reorganized in memory of Aylin Gargı, who lost her life in a traffic accident last year and is planned to be opened soon.

On the other hand, project construction works in Ağıllar, Aygün, Mersinlik, Kaplıca Villages and Kantara are also continuing.
