Preparing 23 schools

Mayor Uluçay said that they have been working intensively for 23 schools since the first day they took office, and that they aim to start the new academic year in safe and healthy conditions for children with many studies. Uluçay stated that although the Ministry of Education is responsible for the schools, they continue to work hard with the awareness that all the children who go to the schools are our children.

Stating that they have started to repaint all the pedestrian crossings in front of our schools, and that municipalities are obliged to spend 15% of the property taxes they collect on education in accordance with the law, Uluçay said, “We transfer all of the income we earn from here to GMTMK to the sports activity areas to be built in memory of the Champion Angels.

We provide all the services mentioned above not from property taxes, but with the own resources of our municipality.” Uluçay thanked the responsible persons and all team members who made serious efforts in all these works.
