ARUCAD Opens Media and Communication Studies Doctoral Program

Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has added a new doctoral program to its graduate programs. The university has started accepting students for the Media and Communication Studies (Turkish) Doctoral Program, which will start education in the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

ARUCAD, the only university in Cyprus and the region that provides education focused on art-design-communication has added the Media and Communication Studies (Turkish) doctoral program to its doctoral programs in the fields of Architecture, Art and Cultural Management, and Proficiency in Arts. The aim of the Media and Communication Studies Doctoral Program, which includes a rich and diverse research and application opportunities that include all of today’s media and communication disciplines, is to train academics who can research and question what communication and media tools mean to societies, who can develop collaborations with different fields integrated with interdisciplinary interaction.

Making a statement about the newly opened doctoral program, ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi said, “As ARUCAD, we have added a new program to our master’s and doctoral programs that offer in-depth knowledge and experience in the fields of art, design and communication. With the Media and Communication Studies (Turkish) Doctoral Program that we opened this year, we offer students the opportunity to build successful careers in both the academic world and the media industry.”

Applications Continue for ARUCAD’s Graduate Programs

Candidates will be able to apply to ARUCAD’s master’s programs in the fields of Art, Architectural Design and Communication Studies and doctoral programs in the fields of Architecture, Proficiency in Arts, Art and Cultural Management, and Media and Communication Studies for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The university offers up to 100% scholarship opportunities for TRNC citizens and international students who will apply to the master’s and doctoral programs.
