On August 29th a third meeting was held with the local business owners regarding problems at Girne Ancient Harbour
A third meeting was held regarding Girne Ancient Harbour, which was re-opened to visitors in 2024 after its restoration was completed. The meeting, where solution proposals were discussed regarding the operations and shortcomings in the Ancient Harbour was held in the Girne Municipality Council Meeting Hall.
Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment Serhat Aktunç, Girne Municipality Council Members, Girne Municipality management staff, harbour business owners, and harbour property owners attended the meeting. During the approximately 2-hour meeting, the existing deficiencies in the harbour and solution proposals were discussed.
