Opening “The Doors” Exhibition Takes Off At Ercan Airport
The Directorate of Culture has opened the “Cyprus Doors” exhibition at Ercan Airport. The Cyprus Doors paintings which are in the Directorate of Culture’s collection consist of wooden miniature paintings of Cyprus doors. This is the first time the Cyprus Doors exhibition has been displayed at Ercan Airport, in the departure passenger area post-passport control, and it will be open for viewing by passengers until July 30, 2024.
Alongside the Cyprus Doors exhibition the Directorate of Culture will present to passengers at Ercan Airport another exhibition featuring photos awarded and exhibited in the 31st State Photography Competition in the “My City Lefke” (Color-Black&White) Category.
Şirin Zaferyıldızı Zaimağaoğlu, Director of the Directorate of Culture, stated that in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation and T&T Airport Management, they will bring different exhibitions introducing our country’s culture and art to passengers at Ercan Airport.
She noted that the exhibition, consisting of photos from the “My City Lefke” Photography Competition held last year, will be displayed to passengers on July 20, the Peace and Freedom Day.
