Girne Rapid Road Patch Up And Catch Up.
Asphalt works within the city are continuing with all speed as part of the program for roadway repair. Approximately 958 tons of asphalt have been used within the boundaries of Girne Municipality over the past two weeks. Asphalt works, conducted in three different categories as ‘patching’, ‘major patching’, and ‘overlaying’, were carried out on the following streets:
- Ateş Street (126 tons),
- Fuzuli Street (130 tons),
- Recep Dalgakıran Street (372 tons),
- Bülent Ecevit Avenue (330 tons).
According to the statement from Girne Municipality, the asphalt works will continue on identified worn-out roads as part of the program.
