Celebration in the 16th International Summer Joy Children’s Festival

The 16th International Summer Joy Children’s Festival in Giirne was a vibrant tapestry of cultural exchange and youthful exuberance. Organized by the Lefkosa Folklore and Youth Center, the festival transformed the city into a bustling carnival, brimming with the laughter and energy of children from around the world.

With a lineup of 85 international participants from countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Turkey, alongside over 150 local children, the event showcased a rich diversity of performances.

The ‘Summer White with Fogem’ theme brought to life cortege marches and dance displays, offering a platform for young talents to shine and for all attendees to immerse themselves in a global celebration of childhood joy and cross-cultural friendship.
