Review of Köfteci Ramiz Cafe Alsancak

Köfteci Ramiz Cafe is a modern stylish cafe/restaurant on the main coastal road to Lapta. This fairly newly established venue has an extensive menu and serves both traditional and popular modern dishes at prices that are very reasonable.

Ramiz is a well established franchise chain from Turkey; where staff are apparently trained and main products imported. The venue is large and airy with plenty of seating both inside and out. Staff are clearly well trained and are very efficient.

What do they serve?

The menu has something for everyone but of course their signature Ramiz Meatballs with Cheese or Chicken with Thyme Sauce are especially popular.

We tried several of their dishes; including their Kofte: all were very good. The burger deserves a special mention. It was amazing! The bun is made of a particularly delicious bread and the burger meat thick, juicy and high quality.

A decent salad bar is available to accompany all meals and the items in it are fresh and crisp.

Overall we liked the concept of this place. Prices are much more affordable than most of the traditional tourist venues further up the road on the Lapta strip, and the variety and quality make this place very much worth a try.
