Important Decisions Made By Traffic And Transport Services Commission

During the recent meeting of the Traffic and Transport Services Commission, chaired by Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı, several significant decisions were made on traffic-related matters. Let’s delve into the details:

1. Traffic Training in Schools:

   • The Commission resolved to provide training on traffic management in schools.
   • A pilot school will be selected for this purpose after collaboration with the Ministry of National Education.

2. Student Driver’s License Exam Format Change:

   • Previously conducted orally, the student driver’s license exam will now be held in written form.
   • The Traffic Training Book and exam questions will be translated into three languages: English, Russian, and Arabic.

3. Confiscation of Vehicles:

   • Vehicles operated by individuals driving under the influence of alcohol beyond a certain threshold will be confiscated.
   • These confiscated vehicles will be towed to parking spaces managed by district municipalities.

Legal arrangements to enforce this decision will be completed within three months and submitted to the Council of Ministers for approval
