Girne Mayor Visits Girne 18+ Disabled Rehabilitation Centre

Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul, together with his wife Songül Şenkul, visited the ‘Girne 18+ Disabled Rehabilitation Centre’ as part of the ’21st March World Down Syndrome Awareness Day’. Following the visit, they attended an event, held at Karaoğlanoğlu Primary School, in which students from the ‘Girne Under 18 Disabled Rehabilitation Centre’ participated. During the event, Şenkul spent time with the students.

Birthday Surprise

During their visit to the Rehabilitation Centre, Şenkul and his wife chatted with the students who did not forget to celebrate Şenkul’s birthday. Other students, who were participating in an extracurricular activity marking the ’21st March World Down Syndrome Awareness Day’, celebrated Şenkul’s birthday via a video call.

Joyful Event at Karaoğlanoğlu Primary School

After the visit to the Disabled Rehabilitation Centre, Şenkul attended an event at Karaoğlanoğlu Primary School, in which students from the Rehabilitation Centre also participated. The colourful event featured students displaying beautiful images.
