A PROTOCOL WAS SIGNED FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF KARAOĞLANOĞLU JUNCTION
Ministry of Public Works and Transport has entered an agreement with Çağ Yap İnşaat Şti. Ltd. regarding the arrangement of Karaoğlanoğlu Junction. Under the agreement the cost of the changes to be made at the junction known as “Karaoğlanoğlu Junction” in Edremit will be covered by Yap İnşaat Şti.
Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı stated that organizing the roundabouts and intersections on the main arteries through sponsorship will reduce the workload of the Highways Department, which has limited resources, and that efforts are being made to implement this method throughout the country. Arıklı said, “We will continue to cooperate with private companies operating in this sector for safer and more orderly roads and safer traffic.”
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport Enver Öztürk and Traffic Department Director Ahmet Aydın were also present at the signing ceremony.
