The Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Defence condemned the burning of the TRNC flag during the demonstrations on the Greek Cypriot side.
In a sharing from the Twitter account of the Ministry entitled “the Flag is the honour of a nation,” it was stated that:
“We strongly condemn the burning of the TRNC flag at the demonstrations on the Greek Cypriot side. These racist attacks encouraged by the Greek Cypriot administration will not be able to prevent the TRNC flag from fluttering on the island for all time”.
