President Mustafa Akıncı stated that the speech made in London by the Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Anastasiades is far from a sense of partnership based on political equality.

Stressing that political equality and active participation are the settled UN parameters included in the past agreements, Akıncı pointed out that the Greek Cypriot Leader Anastasiades should express to the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres that he does not accept this reality.

  1. Anastasiades realities are his personal choice.
    Not much else really matters to him.
    Do not expect any other from a person who is probably taking his orders from the Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church.
    One day we could become equatable neighbours, but we have a long time to be hopeful about that.
