Erenköy resistance and martyrs to be remembered with a ceremony

Erenköy resistance and the martyrs who lost their lives during the resistance will be remembered with a ceremony at Erenköy Martyrdom today (8th August).

The Martyrs Memorial Book will be signed by President Mustafa Akıncı, Cyprus Turkish Peace Forces Commander Major General Yılmaz Yıldırım, and Security Forces Commander (GKK) Brigadier General Tevfik Algan.

Following the speeches, the ceremony will end with a visit to the martyrdom and the laying of flowers on the graves of the martyrs.
