Some arrangements have been made at the beach in response to the great interest shown by the public.
Girne Municipality Kervansaray Public Beach has been reorganised and has started to operate. In order to respond to the great interest shown by the public, 4 new dressing rooms and showers have been added. A new artificial grass field has been created and on the beach there will be 250 sun beds available.
The beach also has a car park for the disabled, a path to the sea and a private area on the beach. There are showers and a private toilet for people with disabilities on the beach where they have access to restaurants, 
toilets and showers. Disabled individuals are not charged.
A special swimming area separated by buoys has been implemented in order to ensure the safety of the citizens. The beach has a lifeguard tower with first aid and lifeguard supplies.
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü in his statement said the Kervansaray Public Beach attracted great interest for its layout and cleanliness and arrangements have been made in order to meet the growing demand.
Nidai Güngördü reminded that Karaoğlanoğlu Municipality Beach was put into service in the past few years and said that they will continue to work for people to be able to visit and enjoy the beach and sea.
