The pressure finally told on one of the top two teams chasing the Championship title. It was the current Champions Yenicamı who cracked being held at home by neighbours Çetinkaya, mind you it took a 97th minute header from Doğukan Demirman that finally broke Yenicamı hearts.

Mağusa Türk Gücü took full advantage of the 2 points dropped by Yenicamı, thrashing Cihangir at home 6-0. They leapfrogged over the Champions, on goal difference so it’s all to play for in the final round of matches this weekend. Mağusa Türk Gücü are away to Küçük Kaymaklı, who themselves are fighting to avoid the “relegation play offs”. Meanwhile Yenicamı are away in Girne to Türk Ocak who have really nothing left to play for.

Champions Göçmenköy were hoping to celebrate their success at home against Akova Vudu, but the visitors turned “party poopers” by beating the Champions 4-1 to clinch a “promotion play off’ place for themselves.

In the big match that could decide who accompanies Göçmenköy automatically into the Super League it was Ozanköy’s turn to become “party poopers” by beating second place Düzkaya 4-2. Düzkaya still require 1 point to go up automatically, Ozanköy must win their final fixture at Yeniboğazici and hope that Düzkaya lose at home to Mesarya.
