Özersay sends a condolence message to French Foreign Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay sent a condolence message to the French Foreign Minister following the terrorist attack on 11 December 2018 in Strasbourg, France.

On behalf of the Ministry and the government, Özersay expressed his condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives in the attack and to the people of France.

Çavuşoğlu met with Lute

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu received the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ temporary Special Envoy on Cyprus Jane Holl Lute.

Following his meeting with Lute, Çavuşoğlu shared from his social media account: “We expressed to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ temporary Special Envoy on Cyprus Jane Holl Lute, that only a fruitful dialogue in which everyone can talk to each other can make a solution possible in Cyprus”.

Uluçay to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform

Speaker of the TRNC Assembly Teberrüken Uluçay travelled to Istanbul last night (13th December) to attend the conference organized by the Parliamentarians for Al Quds.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Binali Yıldırım and parliamentary speakers from various countries are expected to attend the conference which started on 13 December 2018 and will end on 16 December 2018 in Istanbul.

Uluçay and his delegation, who will attend the conference upon the invitation of Yıldırım, will return to the TRNC on 16 December 2018.

  1. For far too long a time the Greek Cypriot people have enjoyed the unqualified limelight and support of the misinformed.
    For them to give up this psycological delusion and to accept the realities of the day will not be an easy thing to digest , let alone to convince the general public that they have been feeding on the fictitious propaganda for many years without a shocking turnaround from their dietary policies.
    Any thing is possible, let us all hope that this also shall happen. Long live common sense.
