Girne Bazaar Trades Association, presented a plaque of appreciation and thanks to Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü in respect of the 8th Girne Bazaar Discount Festival.
A delegation of the Girne Bazaar Trades Association visited the Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü. In order to contribute to the development of the festival, the delegation presented Nidai Güngördü with a cheque for 31,000TL collected from the tradesmen. The delegation also gave a plaque to President Güngördü for arranging for the festival to take place.
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü said that during the economic crisis, discount fairs allowed the regional shopkeepers to develop economically and at the same time allow the public to find a discounted shopping opportunity. Nidai Güngördü stated that as a municipality, the region is trying to fulfil their share in the development of economic activities as much as they can, and stated that they will continue to support tradesmen wherever possible.
