The TRNC Badminton Federation, this year also arranged a day for the badminton loving mothers. The slogan of the day was “We make a team together with the Mom”.
This was the second such event, aimed to make badminton a family game, and also to bring the sports loving families closer to each other. The event was made up of different amusing events where both the mothers and their children participated. The series of interesting competitions started at 13.30 and finished at 15.00 at the Atatürk Sports Centre.
At the end the winning mothers and children were given awards for their performances.
The President of the Badminton Federation, Mr.Firat Deniz, thanked the participants for making this a wonderful and remarkable day. He stressed the need of participation and support of the families to improve the performances of their children.
