Yıldırım: “The EU has brought the Cyprus problem to deadlock”

The Cyprus problem reached a deadlock since Cyprus became a full member state of the EU in 2004, despite the Greek Cypriots decision to vote against the Annan Plan, the Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said in a speech he delivered at the Nueva Economic Forum in Madrid.

Yıldırım also pointed out that Turkey was deeply disappointed at that time, adding that the EU had once again displayed its unfair attitude towards his country.
