Speaking at the opening of the 1st Energy and Mining Forum of Turkey, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Berat Albayrak emphasized that the wealth of Cyprus belongs to Cypriots.
“Turkey has made its stance clear. So long as there is no concrete and rational solution, Turkey has to be effective. We will not allow unilateral drilling,” said Minister Albayrak.
Albayrak stated that the Greek Cypriot side is carrying out unilateral diplomacy in the region. He emphasised that Turkey has made its stance on the issue clear, namely that it would not allow unilateral drilling in the Eastern Mediterranean.
