The International Cycling Tour of North Cyprus will be held in North Cyprus for the third time from the 9th to 11th February 2018.
Hundreds of cyclists from 12 countries, competing in 17 teams, will enjoy the green natural landscapes of the Mediterranean and see the history of the island during the race, which will offer spectacular views.
At a press conference for the event, the President of the North Cyprus Cycling Federation, Ekin Adademir, said that in previous years, the Greek Cypriot Administration has attempted to create obstacles to running the event. He added that the Federation had invited their Greek Cypriot neighbours to participate in the event and proposed to organise it together, but they were refused.
The International Cycling Tour of North Cyprus will consist of three different stages with a total course length of 380 kilometres.
