Infrastructure studies have been completed in Bellapais and Girne Municipality have renewed the old galvanized drinking water line and renewed streets with block paving.
Girne Municipality changed approximately 2,500 meters of galvanized water pipes which had rusted to contemporary water pipes in order to enable the residents of Bellapais to receive healthy water to their houses. After the completion of infrastructure works in the district, 15 streets were laid with block paving.
Güngördü: Studies will continue.
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü stated that they started to work in Bellapais after changing the water pipes of about 11 kilometers in Ozanköy and re-laying the village roads with block paving.
Nidai Güngördü stated that they had renewed the galvanized water pipes for about 2.5 kilometers in Bellapais and re-laid 15 roads with block paving. Güngördü noted that work will begin soon for the sidewalk, infrastructure construction and restoration project planned for four stages in Bellapais.
