Eight Turkish Cypriot martyrs from Ayvasil, who lost their lives in a 1963 massacre perpetrated by Greek Cypriots, will be buried in a military ceremony at Tekke Garden Martyrdom today.
Their remains had been found and identified by the Committee on Missing Persons.
Hüseyin Cemal, Mustafa İsmail, İsmail Mustafa, Mehmet Ali Ömer, Mehmet Hasan, Ömer Hasan, Bayram Hasan and Ayşe Hasan will be laid to rest at Tekke Garden Martyrdom in a military ceremony following the funeral prayers at Küçük Kaymaklı Mosque.
