The winners of the 27th National Photography Competition were announced on 4th December 2017.

EMEL SEFER won the first priize for the photograph titled “NAFISA”

In total 568 photographs were presented before the jury, by 49 photographers. Out of these the jury shortlisted 58 photographs of 23 participants. Of these the jury decided to put to exhibition 20 black and white and 20 coloured photographs under Free entrants category and 18 photographs under the Life-long education category.

The selected photographs would be exhibited in the near future at a date to be announced later.

Under the Free entrant black and white photographs category, EMEL SEFER won the first prize for the photograph entitled “NAFISA”. NILGUN ORTAS won the second position for “THE HELP”.

In the Free entrant coloured category, “KIRMIZI SEHIR” of BUKET OZATAY won the first prize, whereas EMEL SEFER  got the second prize for “SEMA AND NEY”.

In the Life long education category first prize went to BUKET OZATAY for “KOY OKULU”, and the second one to GOKHAN GOKBERG for “MINIK PERILERLE DANS EGITIMI”.

The Jury Special prize went to HAKAN OKUMUSOGLU for the photograph entitled “THEY SHINE FOR YOU”, whereas the Cultural Office special prize was won by KENAN HURDENIZ for “ASALET”.

The Rauf Rauf Denktas award went to YILTAN TASCI for “ogrenim yası yok” photo.
