In the regular news feeds from Vicky Karaca at the Black Olive Cafe we noted her advice which we are sharing with our readers in the event that they may have to call for a TRNC 112 Ambulance.
“Hi Everyone
I hope you are all enjoying this lovely Cyprus weather and feeling like coming out of hibernation to raise more money for equipment for the Girne Hospital and the Emergency Services.
We had reason to call an ambulance for someone about a week ago, we were in Alsancak and the response time was less than ten minutes and it was so rewarding to see the efficiency of the crew and the fully equipped ambulance – very different to a few years ago!
You can all pat yourselves on the back, knowing that we have all helped in some way to help achieve this. On a serious note, some of the people that witnessed the lady who was taken ill did not know how to call an ambulance.
TO CALL AN AMBULANCE YOU JUST DIAL 112!! ( No other code is necessary – just 112) Please pass on this information to anyone who does not know this.
Please may I also tell you that we have a First Aid Training course being hosted by the Anglo Turkish Association at the Black Olive Cafe as under.
