A lovely lady called Brenda Garratt who lives in Melbourne, South Derbyshire, celebrated her 80th birthday on 20th September 2016.
Instead of presents, she asked her family and friends to donate to KAR and she raised £150 and 25 euros, which is just fantastic.
Here she is, together with her daughter Julie (who volunteers in the KAR Gladrag’s Boutique) handing the money over to Margaret Ray.

from all the dogs and cats at the rescue centre and a wonderful example of new ideas and ways for people to help KAR
