5^th March – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 6.30pm you can enjoy Metropolis (1927)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. Cancelled but to be re-scheduled for a later date – to be confirmed 10^th March – Tuesday	The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR), public lecture and slideshow about the Norwegian Arctic Circle at 5.30pm at the Acmenya Restaurant in Alsancak…. The lecturer, Mr. Asmund Roest, a former director of a Norwegian high school, only 500 metres away from the Russian border, will take the audience on a journey far north to a region many people would call “the end of the world”….Reservations by email tfrnorthcyprus@gmail.com
10^th March – Tuesday	Menmeet at St Andrew;’s Church Hall at 11am….An illustrated talk will be given by Christine Venediger on her 2015 tour to Israel and Palestine in search of Elijah’s well….This will be followed by lunch at a local cafe…..All men welcome..
11^th March – Wednesday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be having their Afternoon Tea at the Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak, at 3pm. The speaker will be Pembe Ibrahim from Citizen’s Advice who will give a talk for 30 minutes and then have a question time…..If you have any plastic bottle tops, Pembe will be pleased to receive and pass them on to the relevant charity….. 15^th March – Sunday –Mothering Sunday	St Andrew’s Church – Mothering Sunday and will be a normal Eucharist to observe Lent…. Palm Sunday will be a family Eucharist.

Enjoy an afternoon of fund-raising fun plus a full show from Andrew sings….. Entry is via a donation as sponsorship for Andrew and Glen participating in the Esentepe Fun Run & Ramble on Sunday April 5^th…. All entry donations/sponsorship plus the funds raised during this event will go to the Tulips (Help Those With Cancer) charity…
