This guests this week in the Bayrak International Radio studio are Wendy Smith and Peter Toms, who were responsible for founding the Lady and Lads In Red group after reading a publication from the British Residents’ Society advising of the disappointing number of donations made last December.

So Wendy and Peter started to throw their enthusiasm and promotional skills into raising awareness of the need for increased blood donations by having some posters made. They then sought help from cyprusscene.com with the building of a website and Facebook page and as they say the rest is history.

They have now come together with the British Residents’ Society and become sub committee members and are now helping BRS with promotion of future blood donor days through various activities and events they are planning in support of BRS.
