All the facilities listed below are available to Dağli Sigorta customers, here in the TRNC at the Kamiloğlu Hospital, Girne.
There is no need to book an appointment; you can call in at any time. It is advisable to give them a call on 0542 880 0162 (English speaking), to enquire whether there is a need to fast before you go for testing, as some tests require you to refrain from eating for up to twelve hours beforehand. You should also enquire if you should continue taking your regular daily medication!
When you first go to the hospital you will be presented with and helped to complete a registration form and then if you require to see a Doctor or need some form of treatment, this can be arranged. Once you have registered your details with the hospital, at some point in the future they will drive past your house in order to determine the exact satellite location of your home. This information will ensure they can quickly locate you, in the event that you require the services of their free emergency ambulance.
On a weekly basis, our office will supply the hospital with the name of our customers who are entitled to the free testing facility. Only the names of our customers are given to ensure complete privacy of information. At some time in the near future, they will have a card printed and we will enter your name onto it so that all you need to do is show the eligibility card to receive your discounts.
I have also undertaken some price comparisons and found the hospital charges are quite a lot cheaper than that of their competitors. I have agreed with the hospital to have regular meetings with them to “iron out” any “non-medical” problems that some of our customers may encounter.
Working with the hospital throughout the coming year, we will market special prices and facilities that you will be entitled to as a Dağli Sigorta customer.
If you require an English speaking contact to go with you when you have a consultation with the hospital GP, all you need to do is ask for Irena Hulson or one of her colleagues. Irena Hulson practiced in the UK as a qualified General Practitioner, now having retired to North Cyprus and leads a small team of English speaking receptionists who all want to make your visit to the hospital as pleasant as is possible.
This arrangement by no means suggests that we have entered into any formal contract with the hospital and therefore Dağli Sigorta cannot be held responsible if the hospital does not meet your exacting standards. It is purely a facility our Company has made available to you as a Dagli Sigorta customer and we will maintain our contact with the hospital to ensure the service being offered continues to mature to become a first class experience for you. .
