Conference on Children’s Rights

Awareness by GAU

A Conference on Children’s Rights Awareness is to be held by GAU Early Childhood Education Support Club, established by the students of GAU Faculty of Education Pre-School Teaching

The conference, which is to be held on Tuesday 19th of November 2013 at 10:00am in the GAU Cyprus Campus Spectrum International Congress Hall, will include presentations of expert field researchers, officials of non-organizational institutions and teaching staff. The event which is to be held in conjunction with Children’s Week, will further underline the unfair attitudes towards children and relevant solutions in this respect.

The Head of GAU Faculty of Education Pre-School Teaching – Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Toran has reported that insufficient care and value is given to children therefore the Department of Pre-School Teaching and Early Childhood Education Support Club will highlight awareness on this issue on 20th of November – The World Children’s Rights Day.
