This Saturday the 1st June will see what is believed to be the first event of its kind when the Foreign Nationals band take to the road on a truck,  playing their music and enjoying their ‘truck fest parade‘ from Lapta through to central Girne,

The boys will play from the truck at various car parks but will also play while driving through Girne main centre, and tickets for their Jasmine Court event on 8th June will be available from the truck at each stopping point.

The Foreign Nationals band are very aptly named as the 4 members are 2 from England, 1 from Cyprus and 1 from Russia and they have joined together with Barry Snakes as their mentor to create brilliant music.

The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak have been very supportive in obtaining a music licence for Saturday’s event and the boys and their “truck fest parade” will appear at the following stops at the times shown. (subject to traffic volume but hopefully they will be able to keep to this schedule.)

Lemar, Alsancak at 12.30pm
Lemar, Karaoğlanoğlu at 1pm
Superclean Dry Cleaners, (next to Cacao) Girne at 1.30pm
Lemar, Karakum at 2pm
Lemar, Çatalköy (near Cratos) at 2.45pm
Supreme Supermarket, Çatalköy at 3.10pm
Through Girne down the main street passing the Dome Hotel at 3.45pm

Come on folks get along to see these guys and pick up your ticket for a repeat performance when they perform at the Jasmine Court Hotel when they will be playing their young hearts out in aid of Help Those With Cancer Association – Tulips.
