My guest this week on BRT Family is Rauf Kasimov and his friends from Russia who he hasn’t seen for 30 years. They will all be giving two chamber music concerts at Bellapais Abbey on Saturday 9th March and at the Lefkosa Bedestan on the 15th March.

Both events will raise money for Kuşkor the North Cyprus Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature.

On Sunday 10th March at 1.00pm Cyprus time, my colleague Engin Dervişağa has a fascinating interview with Pearl Mitchell, the Vice Chairman of the Anglo Turkish Association and this will be repeated on Tuesday 12th March at 1.00pm local time.
