“Friends” at Bariṣ Park

The “Friends” Line Dancers have been very busy during the build Friends at Baris Park (1)up to Christmas and Sunday 23rd December saw them at Bariṣ Park to give some entertainment at the Girne Belediyesi Christmas event which was the last day of a 3-day Christmas Fair.   Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too kind but I am sure everyone enjoyed themselves and especially the children who were enthralled seeing people dressed as Friends at Baris Park (3)elves and they were only too happy to have photographs taken with them.

Janet Bartholomew has kindly sent me some photographs and also a link to their video “Boom Boom Christmas Compilation” which has just been completed.  So, to have a look and see what this happy group of people do to enjoy their lives here in North Cyprus, click on the link below.   If you feel you would Friends at Baris Park (2)like to join the line dancing class, either as a beginner or if you have done it before, they meet at the Punjab Restaurant in Lapta from 10am to 12 noon on Mondays and on Wednesdays which is the beginners class.   If you would like further information about the classes telephone :   0533 8215185  or  0542 8820366
