Do Germany want Greece in the EU

GERMANS DON’T WANT GREECE IN THE EU

It has been reported that majority of Germans don’t want Greece in the Euro Region. According to the questionnaire realized by Financial Times only one fourth of Germans approve Greece’s existence in the EU.

However French adopt a softer attitude according to Germans. Only 32 percent of French people want to expel Greece from the EU.

It has been also reported that the fact that the majority of Germans don’t want Greece, makes the task more difficult for the German Prime Minister Angela Merkel. Merkel insists on a tight discipline of the countries which receive aid from the EU.
