6th Lapta Tourism Festival
The 6th Lapta Tourism Festival is getting underway and Berke Ertopaloğlu is as busy as ever with the organising and promotion.

We have now been advised of more exciting events for the 6th Lapta Tourism Festival and these are:-
The 3rd Lapta Municipality Cycle Tour will take place on Sunday 10th March starting at 10am from the Akcan Cycle Shop in Alsancak. The r
oute this time will be Alsancak – Lapta – Karşiyaka. Bicycles will be available for hire at 20TL per bike from the Akcan Cycle Shop. Entry for the cycle tour is free and everyone is welcome but there is a minimum age of 13 years accompanied by an adult.
The organisation and sponsors for this event are : Lapta Municipality and Akcan Cycle Shop.
After the cycle tour there will be a meal at Sirinyali Restaurant of smoked fish or traditional lamb kleftiko, rice, salad, chips and a soft drink at 25TL per person.

The 1st Lapta Municipality Skeet and Sporting Clay Shooting Tournament to be held on Saturday 23rd March starting at 09.00 until sunset. The entry fee is 65TL
The venue is the Kyrenia Skeet and Sporting Club (Aticilik ve Avcilik Poligonu), Karaoğlanoğlu
The categories will be Skeet and Sporting and the Tournament will be 2 rounds and the final.
The organisation and sponsors for this event are Lapta Municipality and Gold Titanium Cartridges Trade.
The last date for entry for this event is 5pm on Friday 22nd March.

The Lapta Municipality Sprint Triathlon Race will be held on Sunday 31st March at 
the K.A.S.K. Guzelyali (Karşiyaka) Beach. Swimming 750m, Cycling 20km and Running 5km.
The organisation and sponsors for this event are Lapta Municipality, Turkish Cypriot Triathlon Federation and K.A.S.K.
