Limassol Martyrs commemorated in Kyrenia

Those who were martyred in the resistance and resistance in Limassol on February 10 – 13, 1964 were commemorated with the 62nd anniversary commemoration ceremony held at the Kyrenia – Limassol Martyrs and Freedom Monument.

The ceremony, which started at 10:00 at the Kyrenia – Limassol Martyrs and Freedom Monument, was attended by Kyrenia District Governor Revin Gürler, Kyrenia Municipality Vice President Haşim Yücel, senior management staff from the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces and Security Forces Command, members of the TMT Mujahideen Association, members of the Martyrs’ Families and Disabled Veterans Association, representatives of non-governmental organizations and members of political parties.

At the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, after the wreaths were laid, TMT Mujahideen Association Kyrenia Branch President Erbil Aydınova made a speech about the meaning and importance of the day.
