ARUCAD Partners with Two International Universities
Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has taken another important step towards expanding its international cooperation network and signed two new academic agreements in Baku. The cooperation agreements signed within the scope of ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi’s visit to Azerbaijan on 18-20 November are a strategic development that strengthens the university’s global partnerships focused on art and design.
In this context, ARUCAD signed two separate agreements with the Azerbaijan Academy of Fine Arts and the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, covering student and academic mobility, joint academic production, and cultural cooperation. The meeting of the Association of Applied Arts Rectors of Turkish-Speaking Countries, which was attended within the scope of the visit, laid the groundwork for new collaborations with the two universities.
Student Exchange and Joint Academic Programs
Cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan Academy of Fine Arts; It includes undergraduate and graduate student exchange, joint courses, short-term academic programs, workshops, symposiums and academic exchange. This agreement allows students to experience different academic approaches on-site and enrich their education processes with an international perspective.
The cooperation agreement signed with the Hungarian University of Fine Arts includes the development of joint education models, two-way student mobility, the organization of joint exhibitions and cultural events, and the sharing of creative projects. Under the agreements, students will be able to attend classes at both institutions without additional tuition fees.
Collaborations Strengthening Applied and Cultural Production
Both agreements cover not only theoretical programs but also practical
studio courses, interdisciplinary project production processes, and professional art events, allowing students to develop their creative production in an international context. Thanks to these collaborations, ARUCAD students will be able to actively participate in exhibitions, workshops, project studies and academic events in different countries.
ARUCAD’s International Network Continues to Grow
As a university specializing in art, design and communication, ARUCAD continues to prepare its students for a global art and design ecosystem through collaborations with creative education institutions in different countries of the world. These two new cooperation agreements signed in Azerbaijan strengthen ARUCAD’s international visibility and offer its students and academics new learning, production and cooperation opportunities in Europe and the Caucasus.
